Where have my babies gone? Vanessa & Amelia had their first piano recital in November. They both did a fabulous job & were so brave to get up in front of all those people & play their pieces by heart. However, if I never hear the songs "Jolly Old St. Nicholas" & "Ode to Joy" ever again it would be to soon. That said-the girls do practice that piano A LOT & I am thankful for that.

Good job, girls! :) The two pieces Ty is working on for his Christmas piano party (they have a mid-year all-student party with one recital at years' end) are... wait for it... Ode to Joy and Jolly Old St. Nicholas. :)
I wish he enjoyed practicing as much as Vanessa and Amelia do! For Ty, piano is a means to a greater end: our middle school band instructor requires two years of piano for anyone interested in playing drums. :)
