Is this safe?

5 children, 1 adult, a fire, and a couple of hot metal sticks.

The girls have been begging me to have a marshmallow roast in the backyard. I'd been putting it off waiting for a warm and calm evening. Last Saturday night we got one. We did have a lot of fun...once I got the fire burning, it's been a while since I've had to do that. Since Brian enjoys playing with fire so much I leave that up to him. Look at how black Vanessa's hot dog is. Oh well, they ate them.
By the end of the evening everyone had a full tummy and both of their eyes. I'd say it was a success.

I love it!! For a reason I can't quite put my finger on, it really makes me think of nights in Springville just hangin' out!

Jane, your blog looks great. I hadn't checked in a while, and I was pleasantly suprised. Great job. You have been busy. Can Brian see it? I miss hanging out. It seems so hectic. Thanks for all you do for me and Koy!

Hi Jane! I haven't been here in a long time (must have linked from Heather?) but I thought I'd stop back in and there you are, doing a marvelous job on all your "ketchup." I'm impressed! (I have yet to start a blog.) Your girls are just beautiful and all your commentary cracks me up. It is so... so Jane. Love it.
